Kayte crying and Southie Boys waiting for her

I thought she wanted to go home, but her mom came back for her anyway, then she was happy. And why did the Southie boys pair up with them and watch them cry if there was 30 grand at stake????????

Where is Ross Bagley now?????

They did keep moving, I doubt they would have let her hold them up for long. The way they edit these things it's really hard to tell what's actually going on. They made it seem like a really close race to the $30k box, but who knows, they might have been way behind.

She was such a pain though, I was impressed they stuck around at all.

I know, I thought back in Montana they were mad at Kayte's family because they left them at the wrong Star, and then they wanted to beat them at their own game, now it looked like they were pulled in again by the Fogals.

It was especially pathetic when you put her cry's of "I just can't go on" in context of the underground railroad.. and slaves fleeing for their lives through darks swamps while being chased by bloodhound dogs.. and knowing that at best they would lose a foot for running away if they were hobbled.. or maybe it would be one of those "The Passion of The Christ" beatings to within an inch of their lives.. or frack it all.. worse comes to worse... they would just hang the slave as an example to the others who were thinking of running...

As a white girl, I myself thought that it was pretty profound that they gave them a chance to walk a mile in the slaves shoes .. and one person got hurt badly.. and cry-baby-Katye gave up completely.

It's a very profound testament to the strength of the human spirit not just to simply survive such devastating historic events, but to endure, and fight for a better life no matter what...

I agree. I wonder if Kayte knew she was in the underground railroad?

I wish we could talk to her up close and personal to see what she really thought of crying and been in the Underground Railroad?
