Mindy was not funny at at. Purposefully written that way to show the gang need Dennis?
Either way, Dennis gets the pretty much the only laugh with 'shut up bird'.
I was about to say RIP to this season if Dennis was not going to appear in any episodes. He’s my favorite character. Is Mindy going to be a regular? I can’t stand her stupid unfunny frumpy looking ass. She’s so ugly and annoying it’s distracting.

Plus, even is she was making Paddy's successful, the gang would not keep her around because a) she is too serious and annoying & b) they would all feel they could do a better job than her.
SOOOOO glad Dennis came back.
The opening scene where Mac is showing of his bodd and they're trying to ignore him was a scene where Dennis was sorely needed and clearly missed. That bit was set up for him. He's trying to make a plan and Mac is coming at things sideways with his nonsense is the exact sort of thing to set him off. If they were trying to illustrate with this ep that Dennis is the secret sauce, they succeeded.
