I love Gay Mac

Love him

Really hope he doesn't go back in the closet in the next episode!

He has to return to the closet. A permanently "out" Mac just isn't as funny and they know this. Mac's obvious gayness and his denial and macho overcompensation are what make him the funniest character.

Yeah, I'm a little worried now

During the Wolf Cola episode, Mac's gay remarks felt a little out of place / played out for me. I think the timing of Mac coming out for real this time is perfect. For people thinking he will go back, there's this interview denying that:

This.

I never understand people wanting it to go back to what they have got for over 10 seasons now.

The audience normally kill comedy sitcoms because they just want the same thing, over and over and over, then freak out when there is change.

Mind boggling.

I don't want gay Mac, but there's at least five years of fresh comedy to mine from him coming out of the closet. It's good for the show.

Closet Mac has been going on for years now. I'm glad they're doing something new. Also...at the risk of being sentimental, but I', actually pretty happy for Mac.

I hate Mac. It's not a gay or straight thing. It's a Mac thing.

I like Mac being out the closet. There's definitely a ton of material to mine from that. Imagine all the stuff they can get from him starting to date guys and encounters in general of the nature.
