Stuart Little 3

First I wasn't too happy about it being a full cartoon. I liked the versions more when it was a real movie with just Stuart being animated.

However, the story is nice. But still...would surely have been better with some real actors too.

Besides, I agree to what some other people on the board already said, that the graphics looked cheap in some places. However, whenever Stuart was sliding down or moving fast then it looked pretty nice and smooth.

I think the first 2 movies were better because they were kind of unique in their style with real as well as animated characters in a real world.

What I like about the movie:
The story, and of course the voice of Stuart, Michael J, Fox.

What I don't like about it:
That the movie in some parts looks like a 2D game, and that's something that was already accomplished 20 years ago. I know of some strict 2D Cartoons that look a lot better, e.g. Disney's GummiBears from the mid 1980's. Or the movie "The Land Before Time" from 1988 which I actually saw in cinema 3 times back then.

All in all it's a good movie though.

there is no stuart little 3, only 1 and 2, a cartoon can't be a sequal to a live action. <im sure there are some that have tried, so before you give your pitiful exuses as to wich movies have had them, note this, they probably stink..>

The producers wanted a sequel at minimal cost. Using the "cartoon" skin allowed them to run the 3D rendering with a much smaller polygon count then in the first two films. The lack of detail is covered up by the cartoon overlay.

The end product is a film that kinda looks like traditional 2D animation, but is really scaled down 3D with a cartoon filter added.

I might be mistaken, but I would asume it was the third Stuart Little, seeing as it says "Stuart Little 3" in the title. And just because it does stink (I just saw a commercial on it, and was absolutely apalled by the fact that it was fully animated, and in a horrible way at that) doesn't mean that it can't happen.

yeah i know its the 3rd, i was protesting its existance..

Still worth watching, I did it just to hear Michael J Fox. :D

I agree magdalena. I wouldn't mind watching it with my eyes closed. :D

"you're not thinking 4th dimensionally"
"yeah I know, I got a real problem with that"

I think it was good. It was nice animated and good voice acting. But sure, I would have liked it to be Live-Action.
