Titanic:2 The Surface should be made!

It is really interesting to see how a fan made trailer about a possible sequel to Titanic is generating so much controversy. We all know that, supposedly Jack Dawson died April 15 1912.However if his body was well perserved,it could be brought to life with today s technology and thus TITANIC 2 is born.
Someone at Hollywood should look at this trailer and think about it...

I'm still in aloof of how they made that trailer, it was so damn real, except the part in the subway, that was a cut from the Fugitive, but other than that I'm stunned, just saw it.

reply

there was also a part from romeo+juliet, and austin powers

It was a great trailer, and cleverly done, but I probably would have worked out it wasn't real during the "warm liquid goo phase complete" scene. You can't overlook a scene from an Austin Powers movie!

Other clips I noticed in the trailer:

Titanic (obviously...)
Romeo + Juliet
The Shawshank Redemption
Catch Me If You Can
Con Air
The Man In The Iron Mask (I think...)

where did they get that titanic musical bit from?

and you couldnt really call it titanic 2 cos it wouldnt be barely to do with the titanic at al...

I honestly have no idea! Maybe there really is a 'Titanic' musical...

This is going straight to the pool room!

reply

it was so random.... the liquid goo phase was from austin powers....and i'm not kidding!

reply

There is a Titanic musical by Maury Yeston. It won the Tony for best musical back in 1997.

reply

In the shot where hes watching Titanic the Musical when it closes in on his face thats from Aviator.

reply

There is a musical to it. But I find it boring. Anyway, I think they were wondering what film, becaus it then shows him the audience.

some of the stuff is from 'Basketball Diaries'

very clever trailer, but i figured it was a spoof when they lifted Leo out of the ocean in an ice block...

reply

they should really make titanic 2 because the first titanic's tagline is " noithing on earth could come between them" so it would make sense that time nor tradgedy could stop there love and everyone forgot the scene from primal fear

reply

Whats got me a little stunned is when their in the room and this one guy is like "Rose is dead Jack" that part had me almost convinced.

reply

Part when the dude says "Rose is dead, Jack" Thats pobably from another movie and the guy who made the clip probably did a voice over or whatever that damn thing is called.

reply

I could never watch it. I really hope they don't make it.

reply

i would probably cry if they made it...lol...i think they should make it!

reply

I was amazed when I saw that too. It's a real work of art. I think a producer should definitely take a look at that and make the movie. The story is perfect.

reply

i really dont think they should make a Titanic 2 it doesnt seem right ocnsidering Titanic was real and this Jack coming back to life couldnt happen

Honestly, I really don't know how Jack Dawson could be brought back to life after 84 years at the bottom of the north atlantic. I know that when someone drowns in cold water, it's easier to bring them back than if they drown in warm water, but there's got to be a certain time to how long the body will allow resesitation before brain death has set in.

I really liked Titanic when it came out in 1997, but why would they feel they have to open up the story after it ended so beautiful?

The Titanic was so tragic. Making a sequel out of it, where the Titanic really wasn't involved would be a sin. Just not right. I must say, I love the Rose- Jack romance story, immensely. But I would be so bad if they made another Titanic.

reply

there was typos like Fozen Man

Somebody's been watching too much Futurama.

Reanimation of a frozen corpse is not possible. Brain death can indeed be delayed (especially in cases of drowning), but once a brain is gone, it's gone.

I think nearly a century of encasement in ice would yield very little life.

"Ah! The exact center of the Atlantic ocean! This seems the logical place for fish to congregate."
