Different, haunting, compelling

This film is going to be very much the love it or hate it type of movie. I rented it because I thought it was similar to Cloverfield and to be honest I had a free gift rental. But I was really surprised and having seen Cloverfield last night, this is far more original and deeper. It doesn't have all the cgi and effects and action that a big studio picture like Cloverfield was able to afford but in terms of ideas and inventiveness Invasion was far superior. Better performances too. Again not for everyone but it is a sweet piece of indie art for folks who like a little adventure in their viewing.

Neither this nor Cloverfield are original, they are just poor rehashes of ideas from previous films made to look new. If you like this for the novelty or the originality, get out more in your viewing.

What would those original movies be? I'm curious...

You mean the laughable waste 'Blair Witch.'

Can you fly this plane?
Surely you can't be serious.
I am serious,and don't call me Shirley

Wow.

Say, let's use some simple logic and deduction for a moment: 1) you posted curiously repeated, intentionally dishonest comparisons to/claims of this being better than Cloverfield the day CF was released. 2) you gave misleading info and used meaningless, generic buzzwords/phrases to praise aspects of the movie that are categorically awful. 3) the curious coincidence that you started your account the same day you made that post.

Sooo...is this Albert, Cynthia, or their marketing firm?
