The smell
Did Mrs Li ever get rid of that fishy smell? I don't think it was really addressed other than her going to see the Doctor and getting some cream and stuff, along with bathing in bathfuls of pot-pourri

I always thought the smell was because she ate the fetus that Aunt Mei aborted from the young school girl. I thought the treatment went bad because that fetus was a product of incest. As to whether she ever got rid of the smell or not, I'm not sure.
