Why Why Why

...does almost no one love this show??? It needs more publicity! Everybody get the word out - THIS SHOW IS GREAT!!!!

Although its likely that no one is going to see my post here, seeing as this board is so empty....

I've only seen the first two volumes (up to episode 6), i'm very slowly collecting them, but i must say that one with the janitor was NOT my favourite - it was just wrong on so many levels. My faves are the beach one (Summer illusion of steel) and the second half of episode six (the patient of darkness) but then again, i do tend to lean towards the romantic-ness of Sousuke and Kaname flying or riding off into the distance. Although, i do enjoy a good Bonta-Kun beat-up as much as the next person.

I love that art one too. The funny thing is, the reason i both love and hate some episodes is the same: whoever made the show went WAY over the top. The Hambeurger Hill of Art is a classic example, as is the janitor one.

Still the good very much outwieghs the bad, so i must say i absolutely love this show. I've ordered in volumes 3 and 4, they'll be here in about a week and i'm SO EXCITED.

Yeah, im seeing it for the second time now. It's pretty insane, specially the janitor one.

I liked this show a lot, actually. I went to watch the first episode last night to get a feel for the changes from FMP! and damned if I didn't end up doing a marathon session and finishing the whole series.

It was odd at first since it's pretty different from the first and third season. It won me over pretty quick though and I look at it as kind of like 12 fun filled filler episodes apart from the main story.

My favorite scene was probably in episode 2 where Sagara fires into the air and demands a plain roll. "Cooperate and bring out the plain rolls. Or else I'll shoot." That just cracked me up how dead serious he sounded.

I picked up the Box Set for a self X-mas gift and am enjoying it. I just started up the 3rd disk. It's alot more goofier or silly than the original, but it's a very fun series. I really enjoy how there was alot of shows with 2 stories in it. It made it a fun watch instead of trying to figure out mysteries and whatnot.

I loved this series, too. If there's people who don't like it, I think it may be they don't like the sillier tone of the show, like when Souske disquises himself as Bonta-Kun.

The only thing I didn't really like was the episode with the janitor. I think Souske and that martial arts kid should've beaten him. (Was the janitor related to Michael Meyers from the HALLOWEEN films?) Also, I was a bit disapointed that Mandy Clark didn't return to voice Mizuki Inaba. Does she not voice-act anymore? I do very much like Jessica Boone, however.

The only thing I think I didn't like about this show was the fact that Kurz Weber only shows up once, in an extremely pervy episode XP I love the series very VERY much, and this season of it is no exception. If only there were more Kurz, I'd be in heaven *sigh* GAH! Fangirling again >> lol

hahahah yeah purealchemist that episode was hilarous hahahaah, specially when weber gave the nerdy the inspiratioanl speech after he got hit in his butt and pretending to be dying, i was like wtf? hahaha, and then the kid went berserk and even changed into seed mode but instead of the seed it was a panty hahahahahah i couldn't stop laughing and then the punchline when the kid end up in sousuke's *you know what* after all the trouble he went avoiding and destroying all the traps.

I love this show to death. My girlfriend just bought it for me for Christmas by mistake (she thought it was the 24-episode series) but I love it! Especially the Fumoffu episode with Sagara in the Bonta-Kun costume. Hilarious!

Ahhhh. This show was the first anime show I ever watched, and it's still by far my favorite. I mean it's a very effective combination of comedy, romance, and people in hamster suits kicking ass. What more could one ask for? =) Although every episode is great, my favorite is definitely "Hostility Passing By/A Fruitless Lunchtime" -- I think the insane police girl is hilarious!

Having said that, I do have a few questions:
1) Am I the only one who thinks Ono-D and Kyoko should've gotten together at the end of the last episode? That would've been pretty cute.
2) Has anyone here read any of the manga or novels? I've read some of the manga, but haven't yet gotten around to the other books.
3) Lastly, am I the only one who finds Kazama annoying? And also does anyone else think he looks a lot like Keitaro from the Love Hina manga series?

But again: fantastic series!
