Total Rip Off of 52 Pick Up

Okay, not really. Yes in the Mechanic (2011) there's a dark red XK-E and in 52 Pick-Up there's a silver XK-E and they both are rigged by the hero to remotely blow up and kill a baddie but that's the only thing.

SO tired of any one plot similarity being labeled "rip off" or "basically the same as" this other movie. This has, for example, nothing in particular to do with Leon/The Professional.
