Foster's fight scene

That fight scene between Ben Foster and the other hitman is absolutely fantastic. A real hard-hitting, well-designed scene that makes you wince numerous times. The lead-up to it, as well, is fantastic. I can picture guys everywhere squirming a bit as that builds up until Ben goes for the attack.

As mentioned, Foster steals every scene he's in with "The Mechanic."

The guy throwing him through the shelf full of glassware and then having it fall on him was classic.

The homosexual lead-up to it had me feeling somewhat uneasy though.

Also, hard to really feel the tough guy aspect of taking someone out when you only got in by pretending to be homosexual.

Agreed with the OP! Great scene!

Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.

I thought that Steve wanted to do the hit like he did cause he wanted to be tough like Bishop.
Also, he took his aggression about his father's death out on the big guy...

I saw this movie years ago, haven't watched it since, but love Foster's fight with the big guy. A fantastic big guy versus little guy since, great choreography, and one of the better versions of this I've ever seen on film.

It was tense but when that dude bounced Foster's head off of the counter it would have (and should have) been over. That's when the scene went wayyyy unrealistic.
