Now that this film has gone on general release (and is starting to recoup some monies) are the crew (and other non-paid companies)finally going to get paid for the hard work they all put into this picture?

Its a great film, but unfortunately it probably has little appeal. Graham Obree was never that well known Scotland (I've heard). You just have to hope that people who followed cycling in the 90s and were of Graham's great achievements will spread the word. I only stumbled across this movie when I was flying to England and it was one of the multiplay movies. I haven't seen it anywhere on general release.
shareI went to see this film last night at Croydon Clocktower, the David Lean Cinema. I am pleased to say with the exception of one seat (luckily the one right in front of me) the place was full and it was a Wednesday evening.
There were only two showings of this film, the other was Thursday 2pm. Hopefully Croydon council will be bringing back this film as I don't think they realise they have one of the largest cycling clubs in the country on their turb.
Unfortunately it does not feature Tom Cruise in the lead role.
Seriously, a great movie, that I just watch on Pay Per View in the States.
I will talk about it around me, hoping some of my friends add it to their Netflix list or pay for it.
I don't regret the 5 bucks I spent on it. An Oscar nomination would be great, but unfortunately it is not in a foreign language unless you consider Scottish English foreign.

Sorry for the bump, but news has it the producer is running to start a new film, so I was wondering if the payment problems ever got resolved. From my asking, I hear there's still a lot of bad feeling towards this guy and I would like to know the risk assessment before any possibility of work.
