Those annoying kids for the third time!!!!

Why does Takara/Hasbro and the animation studio that makes Transformers Cybertron insist on using a group of kids over and over? I know they use them so kid viewers watching can identify with them, but enough is enough!!! All they do is whine when the Autobots say they can't come on a mission, ride the mini cons to the mission despite being told not to come, and then getting in the Autobots' way resulting in one of the kids getting grabbed by a Decepticon that threatens to kill him/her if the Autobots dont surrender. If you think about it the Autobots are becoming baby sitters. If they have to make a human character(s) at least don't have them hog the spotlight or have them become a liability to the Autobots. Villainous humans wouldnt hurt either. Like a crazed scientist or an army commander that strives to destroy all Transformers for fame and recognition! Despite the kids, Cybertron is a pretty neat show. Its the closet thing to G1 I think.
