I was in Thailand as a volunteer after the tsunami and ended up on the set to earn some cash. Everyone thought I looked like Angus so they asked me to double for him.
The show will be on in 20 minutes and I'm totally stoked and cant wait. I know it'll be a cheesy Hallmark thing but I am excited to see all the extras I hung out with for 3 weeks!

So how the heck did you find out about the stand-in job?
When I was there volunteering there was a lot of people travelling and the word got around. Since I already had a beard going, and desperatley needed the money (as did all volunteers), it was a given to go.
It was a fun time!
Most of my scenes were cut though. I think it was because they initaially anticipated it being a 4 hour mini and it turned out to be a 3 hour movie. But maybe it was different in the UK.

Its boring, crappy, badly acted and the sword fights where you see them stick the sword under the guys arm and he pretends to die is just bloody pathetic.
Still I just watched it till the end on tv, hoping something intresting might happen hah... had to go to this board for some excitement

Hey I remember you too! I remember the Doctor stuck his tongue down your throat on set. You can't really blame those lonely old guys from Koh Samui. They've been getting all the dark Thai beauties for so long, and when a cute English girl comes along they don't know what to do.
Hey is it a mini-series there in the UK? They knocked off an hour and turned it into a movie so a lot of my scenes were cut.

you might be, but without seeing your picture I'm not in the position to confirm your statement. I made hundreds of pics on that movie, both in Khanom and in Suratthani, old factory when you remember a guy taking pics all the time, then that was me.
