When does it take place?

When does this film take place in comparison to The Batman series. Does it take place between season 1 and 2 or season 2 and 3???

I always assumed that it takes place sometime before the beginning of season three and the introduction of Batgirl. I had hoped that Vicky Vale would show up in the series once in a while, but we haven't seen her yet.

To be honest I really don't see much continuity with this movie and the tV series.True there are aritfacts in the batcave to show this but also look at the tone and everything.The show (before season 4) was for kids but this movie has a much larger audience.Also in the series there is no mention or nod to the movie.

Really? Dracula made it so it took place between 1 and 3....... DRACULA dont give a *beep* he don't change into no costume... he would take batman's utility belt and spank batman's own ass with it.

SciFiComicgeek, that makes the most sense. But in terms of production, this one came out after 4 episodes of season 3 had aired, I speak under correction though. But is this not like a lot of movies that are made from tv series? Look at the X-Files, not a lot of continuity with the series, characters in particular.

I regard B vs D as a stand-alone
