terrible

this movie was terrible. no chemistry between the cast. whoever casted this thing did an awful job. the jokes were ridiculous and the acting was bad. the story was written for teenage characters and there are thirty year olds embarrassing themselves. even the directing was terrible. it was painful to watch. paul soter should hang up his boots. throw in the towel. forfeit. quit. discontinue working. stop. give up. try to forget this ever happened. this movie is a skeleton in the closet for everyone involved in making it. i hate this movie. it looks like someone's first time making a terrible movie.

Actually, it wasn't terrible. There wasn't supposed to be chemistry at first, because Neil is unsure of Violet. The acting was fine, they were acting like people would in reality; They're not average people, so obviously they're not going to be acting like mature business people. You need to think about movies before you post this. Paul Soter did a fine job. Obviously he's not a big movie director, but at least he's making money. You just have no movie taste, so don't criticize a new director for a only you didn't like.

It was weird, but watchable.

"It was weird, but watchable."

Just like the detectives! BWAAHAHAHAHH

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I'm the one with the wicked curveball.

It was cute. It had virtually no depth -- it was purely light and fluffy, almost like a series of SNL skits with the same characters. If you take it for what it is, it was enjoyable.

wierd but watchable sums it up totally.

I loved its quirkiness and thought the sound track was awesome.

I don't think it was terrible. In fact, I rather enjoyed the first two thirds, but I really wish it had found somewhere new to go in the last act.

One odd thing: The closing credits claim to be "in order of appearance", but aren't.

Agree with the "weird but watchable" comment and defo with the vague ending with no direction. Loved it though. ;)

Totally agreed with the weird but watchable. And it was pretty funny in parts. 2 scenes in particular Cillian Murphy in the bathroom and that moment at the picnic. Murphy was really good. I do agree Liu and Murphy was one of the oddest couples I've ever seen in a romanic comedy.

Terrific flick. Loved the way the Bimbo does everything she can to turn his world upside down. Liked it so much, I bought the DVD. Perhaps it's your boots that should be a hang'in.
