I'm a big fan of Cillian's, and I've never seen him give a bad performance. His character was so sweet and adorable, it's the only reason I kept watching this movie. On the other hand, I found Lucy Lui's character to be more and more annoying as time went on. Nothing against Lucy, but I think the part of Violet was miscast. Maybe another actress would have made this movie better.

shareYeah, I could definitely picture Cameron Diaz having played that part. Also, there was a time a few years back when Christina Applegate coulda' played that role. But Lucy Liu was quite good in this... NOT annoying. I loved how she did that basketball scene. Very touching, seeings how I myself am about as adept at basketball as she is. lol
