Did anyone think this movie was much better than they expected?

Honestly, I didn't want to see it as I was worried it was a) too soon b) wouldn't do Big justice c) and would be a made-for-BET movie - at best... However, I was pleasantly surprised... I am not saying it deserves an Oscar, but it was pretty entertaining... They definitely didn't hold back on making everyone look like a saint (especially Puffy)... But, that's what they do in biopics...

The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all.
