LOL @ Biggie Rushing Down The Elevator To Save 2pac

That was the biggest crock of *beep* I've ever seen.

Word. They made Biggie/Bad Boy look like Saints and Pac look like the devil.

Well this movie is from Diddy's perspective. So you know he had to make it look like he was all concerned....lol

Well the part about Tupac getting shot at the studio did happen in real life. But Diddy's and Pac's story of what happened after he got shot differ. According to Tupac, after he got shot Diddy and Biggie paid him no attention. According to the the movie(Diddy), they were all in Tupac's face asking him what happened and if he was alright.

From Pac's point of view they paid no attention to him and that's why he said he thought they set him up. But when you look at the movie, you think well how can Pac think they set him up and they were acting so concerned about him???

In reality, Biggie and Diddy didn't rush to Tupac's aid when he was shot. In fact they didn't know or "acted" as if they didn't know til they heard he was in the hospital later. I am not saying they set Tupac up but this movie falsely makes Biggie and Diddy look good in that situation.

Yeah now that I think about it, it does seem kind of far-fetched.

"Whoo-ah"

It is more than far fetched. Biggie knew that people were coming at Tupac with guns, and he didn't warn him. This is a damn fact. The movie, then, makes the West Coast look ridiculous for being upset at Biggie for having a hand in Tupac's near murder. This film is one of the biggest pieces of sh¡t ever made.

I know next to nothing about these two people - in fact I had never heard of Biggie Smalls until he was murdered - but watching those scenes in the movie I thought "What a load of self-serving bollox!"

It was so obvious that the Biggie character was being painted as some sort of wronged innocent, trying to look out for his friend, and falsely accused. It was a piece of propaganda Goebells would have been proud of.

I expect a little misty-eyed romanticism in my music biopics but they may as well have had a halo over Biggie's head throughout this. Admittedly they showed the spousal abuse but I'm betting even that was toned down (and he was depicted almost in being justified in what he did).

As to WHY these people were shooting each other, the movie seems to give no clue. I am still in the dark about that. It all seemed very childish to me, but with live ammunition involved.

Biggie ( Fat one ) and Tupac ( Skinny one with nose ring )... Were and to this date some of the most famous, gifted & notorious rappers to hold a microphone... With no disrespect or disregard to this historic leaders when I type this, they were the MLK and Malcolm X to the rap culture... Both poets that produced stories so vivid yet tragic that you would think you were with them the entire time... Both stood for something yet laid down and died for absolutely nothing... Both murders are still up for discussion as of 2015 and nobody has yet to be charged... I'll put it this way, their reign in the music industry spilled over into the streets and divided the east and west coast into a blood rivalry that carried on for several years even after both of their untimely demise.
