Does anyone think history's kind of been repeated?

In 2000, The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle, which was about famous cartoon characters going into the real world to battle their animated nemesis, came out. It had Jonathan Winters and Kenan Thompson in it and there was a narrator.

In 2011, The Smurfs, which was about famous cartoon characters going into the real world to battle their animated nemesis, came out. It had Jonathan Winters and Kenan Thompson in it and there was a narrator.

Kind of weird, don't you think? I mean I know all these elements have been used before but not really together besides those two examples.

I call movies that are considered 'bad' hated movies.
