What's the point to the sisters and Dara Lynn?

I've just recently seen all three Shiloh movies and got say first off that the sisters Dara Lynn and Becky played no real big part in the movies and they really seem not to bright eiter.

Secondly in this movie Dara Lynn is a real snot near the end, where she and Marty are playing a game and she starts kicking Marty for no reason, pushing Shiloh when he bounds on the table and later climbing up on a bridge pillar. Like where's the brains!

She really didn't deserve that kitten in the end.
