People who have seen this movie... answer my question! (Please)

How bad is the violence? I am really sensitive to gore and blood, but I really want to watch this movie.

I can handle most PG-13 violence. 'Salt' was my limit in blood/gore
Although large-scale action doesn't bother me (bombs, explosions etc.)
It's just the small personal stuff with detail...

Could somebody tell me the worst parts and the most violent... Thanks!

No problem at all. Most of the movie is about politics and strategy. Very few actual combat scenes, and they are not graphic.

The ones that are there are rather deliciously almost played for laughs.

There are a few scene's using real amputee's (young children) to
show what happened when Afghan children would pick up Soviet anti-
personnel mines, and you might find them disturbing, I know I
did and I've seen some pretty bad things in real life. Other
than that, any other violence such as people being shot on the
ground by Soviet helicopters are shown mostly at a distance,
and only for a few seconds at most. There are no extreme blood
or guts type images that I can remember.
