in the last scene where they're at the bar mitzvah you can see a boom opperator in the background with sound mixing equipment and everything. i thought it was incredibly lazy for them to keep this shot.

Yeah, I just came on here seconds after finishing the movie, assuming this would be one of the top threads for the movie.
That's pretty crazy - what sound would they be grabbing, anyway - the scene clearly looks like it wasn't intended to have dialogue.
It was so obvious - they must have really rushed that final edit.
might have been for a bar mitzvah video. probably not but i'm trying to think of something because that was way too obvious.
