Someone's seen it else they wouldn't be able to comment on it.

I grew up in Park City, Kansas; was in my 20s during the BTK years and living in his killing field, including very close to two of his victims and the one "missed" victim, fit his "victim profile", and was a personal friend of one of his (ex-)wife's sisters through elementary and high school. Thankfully, I never met the scum as he was several years older than me and didn't start dating his wife until long after high school.

I've read Beatty's "The Hunt For BTK" book, which the movie of that same name was NOT taken from; and participated in a Wichita discussion board from the time BTK resurfaced in 2004 to the present. Myself and many of my fellow posters over there would REALLY like the chance to see this film.

Is it or will it ever be available anywhere???

Thanks for your help.

reply

The film will be released by Lion's Gate on dvd sometime around May 2006.

You will be able to get it anywhere.

reply

yeah, unfortunately. sigh.

why would anyone who lived in Wichita want to relive it all over again by watching it? I was not around during his first run, but I am a young mother and was scared to death when he reappeared a couple of years ago, and relieved when he was captured. I think that it's sad that we give him any fame at all by making even a TV movie about it. It just makes me sad because I think we are just feeding his ego. No offense to anyone,

I agree with you, jarymo21. Unfortunately, society loves to obsess over its abject members. Can't look away from that car crash...
