Imagine a movie about Jesus or Moses, sporting a bone in their noses

Imagine a movie about Moses and the Pharaoh, or Jesus and the Romans, wearing bones in their noses, and crowds mindlessly cheering as Jesus is crucified.

That's how ridiculously fake the Mayans are represented in Apocalypto.

You can google "Mayan Bonampak murals" or "Pacal the Great", or "Kan Bahlam" and see what a complete Indiana Jones masquerade this Apocalypto movie is.
There is no bones in the noses, no human skull worn as adornment, in the Mayan art.

Mel Gibson is a Roman Christian fundamentalist dopehead Yankey surfer, with an agenda, and access to hundreds of millions of monies, to spread Christian propaganda through movies.

For anyone who wants to understand the "human sacrifices" in Mayan culture, you have to understand that the frescoes, murals, bas-reliefs representing the "Sacrifice of the Warrior" are similar to the "Sacrifice of Jesus".

Just because we see countless paintings and sculptures of Jesus being nailed to a cross and gored by a soldier, in contemporary art - right now, today, doesn't mean that we the Europeans are doing any human sacrifice in our churches and cathedrals, and Jewish people are getting soaked in Jesus' blood every Easter or during droughts...

The "Sacrifice of the Warrior" is a religious representation of a Mayan Deity, like Prometheus or Jesus in European religions.
Do you honestly believe that we Europeans, forage for random dudes, tie them up, beat them until they start to bleed, put a thorn crown on their head, then nail them to a cross and have soldiers gore them with a spear, every year, and the Jews take those dudes' blood upon them, just because we like to paint this dude nailed to the cross, over and over again, in our European art?

In the Mayan system of beliefs, the Warrior represents planet Mars - the Red Warrior, which is being "sacrificed" to "protect" Earth.
Mars has the same role in European religions, that of a warrior who sacrifices himself to protect Earth.

Yawn.

Clearly, you don't have an agenda against Mr. Gibson. 

He's a surfer and you know it!

I know. Europeans are so more evolved than we are, right? No hatred for Christians/Christian religion there, right? No wonder the whole European continent is rotting from the inside out. Geesh! Idiots...

The film isn't about the Mayans, it's an amalgamation of different mesoamerican cultures. It has nothing to do with Mel's religion.
