Why no digital copies or rentals?

I'd really like to own this film, but I can not seem to locate a digital copy. I can't even find one to rent ... what gives?

Poster above me doesn't know, lol.

Anybody else?

Well, it's currently OOP on DVD and BluRay. Just found that out tonight. What gives, Disney?

This by far is one of my favorite movies, I have been wanting to watch it and own it. You're right, it is nowhere to be found! Why does it have to be so mysterious? Did Mel Gibson hoard it all and put it in a vault? Sheesh, I can't even find a poster for it.

It's available on Netflix Australia, so i'd assume it's also available for US subscribers.
Watched it last night and it still hasn't lost its impact. Excellent film!

reply

Well, I wanted to purchase it.

Checking right now, it is NOT available on Netflix in the US. Braveheart and Passion are, but not this one.

I already did :)

Still would like a VUDU copy.

Damn, same here. Wanted to buy the blu-ray but OOP has made prices skyrocket. At least I have the DVD but come on, how is this possible for a movie with 19 Oscar nominations and 9 wins.

Came here to ask the same thing. I really want to have it in my collection and watch it again, but it seems that even dvds are hard to come by.

reply

I bought it off Amazon UK on Blu Ray for £5.99 yesterday.
