Not normally my thing, but WOW!

Visually, there are few things like it. The symbolism, while very clear, works well and while the film has a definite message, it's not really a propaganda film. I actually think you could view this in two completely different ways and possibly be correct in both views.

I think the real complaint most will have is that it doesn't exactly go the way you'd expect it to. Everything hints towards one outcome and the finale might leave some scratching their heads. The short film, which was nominated for an Oscar is equally as interesting, because the ending is a little different and leaves us to believe something else.

Rarely do I go into something so blind, but had read that this was the most unknown "great" film of the past ten years and I needed to see it. Glad I did.
