I thought the movie was quirky and interesting. I didn't compare it to anything else, nor did I try to dissect it. I simply put in the DVD, watched the movie, and enjoyed it. Does that make me some sort of movie heretic? I desperately hope so. :)
I'm with you. This was a visually awesome movie and had some genuinely moving and frightening parts.

shareThat's how I watch all movies. I don't try to pick them apart or look for errors. I just watch for the story the film makers are presenting to us. Yes I may roll my eyes a bit or laugh at some cheesy FX, but I can appreciate not every film maker has unlimited funds and use what they can to convey their story.
