Best ever on-screen treatment of the American Revolution.

Frankly there is "John Adams" the HBO series and everything else is garbage. Why in the next 8 years nothing has come out except for garbage like "Turn"? Is there no desire for an accurate and well-done telling of the American War of Independence? I would have loved to have had another HBO series do "George Washington".
