I hear you man. I cringed when they started running the sob stories for these kids, had to turn the channel a few times because I was embarrassed for them and their parents. Does FOX really expect me to feel sorry for a 10 year old who had some failures in their life? Plus this show still sucks without hearing Mary Murphy laughing in the background.

Yeah I feel like a complete Pedo watching this show! The other seasons I grew up with the contestants and found some of the guys super hot...Now, I just am like "meh" this totally sucks! They should've had 2 kids go head to head during the 10 top and then have like a twitter vote for the best kid (like they did with the dance crews last season) That way they could ease us into this complete failure! I hate watching kid shows anyway and they're trying everything to get a renewed interest in the show. They should've just kept it like season 1 and 2 and let that be that. I honestly would rather watch dance crews instead of this crap. Nobody cares about kids! They are 8-13 how much of a life can they possibly be sappy about?? Maybe this will force the crappy choreographers to make original dances instead of someone leaving for war or a stupid love story from travis wall.

I've been a big fan for many years. But agree -- not going to watch at all this year. With low ratings last season, maybe this was their solution/gamble/hail mary pass. I agree with another thread that an all all-star season would have been a better ratings solution. Or... dare I say it... replace Nigel as judge. Imo, he is the weak link on the show.

I was in shock for the first few minutes of season 13. I thought maybe they were just doing a one episode special on kids, but no... it's the whole season. Yawn fest! This will be the first season I don't watch since season 1. Terrible decision by the producers.

I'm shocked by the things said on this thread! I think that the kids bring a whole new dynamic to things! How many dance shows are there for adults? Not many for kids at all...and their all-star mentors are dancing too. I think it's a huge success. Might be a let down if its such a drastic change from previous seasons from long-time viewers, but this is actually the first season I've watched and I love it! The bring so much joy to the show! Shame on you guys for bashing children!
