I saw this movie and it's made me want to learn to play chess! By the way, can anyone here play chess blindfolded and play multiple people at the same time?

The website of the official United States Chess Federation (USCF) is http://www.uschess.org

It includes announcements on scholastic and USCF rated chess tournaments being in each state, and a link to a "Beginner's Section".

I learned with the book "Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess". Its basically a book of chess situations and you have to figure them out...it helps you think about chess more analytically.
