Why does the future always happen 'first' in the movies (SPOILERS)

Ok, I'm fully aware that this is just an animated movie, but this argument applies to many time travel movies/shows. Maybe I'm just figuring it out wrong, but why is it that the future seems to happen first, then someone goes back in time to set the future in motion. Examples:

1) Fry being Lars. It seems like Lars existed first in the future, then the younger Fry went back in time, and said "I'm Lars!", and THEN went to the future to be Lars. That doesn't make sense does it? There shouldnt be a future Lars in the first place to make Fry realize he's Lars hah.

2) Where did the timecode come from? It seems the only way for the movie to make sense is for Lars to have it in the first place, but where did he get it from?

I'm only posting this to see peoples opinion about time travel paradoxes and stuff. This arguement can be applied to movies like the terminator as well.(sending back someone from the future to father you..?). Just seems weird.

I agree.
I was just watching this last night, and was asking myself the same questions! In order for Fry to even have the tattoo in the first place, Bender had to go back and put it on him on December 31, 1999. But that doesn't explain how Fry has the tattoo before any of the time travelling happening. So, how could he have it in the first place?
Lars can't exist in the future (Present 3007) without the time travelling events happening (which haven't happened yet).
Unless the original Lars is actually just someone named Lars(and not bald Fry from 2012) and Fry notices the resemblance when his hair and larynx gets burned in 2012, freezes himself, and takes the job at the head museum before the real Lars can do it, and therefore becomes the Lars we know in the future (Present 2007).

Now, Fry couldn't have had the tattoo at any point in the series, because Bender hasn't put it on him yet. But, Bender can't put it on him in the past if he doesn't have it in the future (present 3007).
Bender gets the tatoo off of Lars (who is Fry) to put on him, but that still doesn't explain how Fry has the tattoo on the nude beach before Bender has even gone back and placed the tatoo on Fry in 1999.
So much for Paradox free time travel...

The future always happen first in movies because if it started chronologically it would be too confusing and disturbing + wouldn't make sense until you watched the whole movie through.

This is common sense btw .... *rolls eyes*

Also, it's very annoying that this site doesn't give any separation whatsoever from signatures.
