Every possessed character (with the fire eyes) died after the fire demons has left him. Their bodies were somewhat "burned out from the inside", only the skin remained intact due to the magic powerz of the fire thing.
shareThey didn't show the girlfriend (from the beginning) getting torched, but they mentioned she died. At least this was the Syfy Channel version that aired tonight. Maybe crispy girlfriend was edited from the broadcast version? She was pretty cute, though... would have liked to see her become a recurring badguy in the movie.
