a couple of points...

At least SciFi is making new movies for TV. When was the last time a "Mainstream" station did that?

How many times have you watched Planet nine or some other wacky, strings attached to the flying paper plate saucer movie from the 60's? Perhaps we should look at these SciFi movies as this decades low budget scifi's... who knows, one of them might be a cult hit.

This movie was not bad, the script was well written and easy to follow. The cgi and action pretty realistic. Over all an enjoyable show.

I think most of the voters on this site fancy themselves real critics of film like an Ebert or whomever. People need to stop trashing these shows..give them a little support and show the SciFi folks they have a base and perhaps they will start making some bigger budget shows.

/agreed here's to the next BSG movie with the potential for a series. That might be the deciding factor for extra budget. And also after putting so many big names into this, NBC etc must have thought they can't risk ruining more careers, forcing the treatment by pinch writers.
