Who is the King of Swing supposed to be? Any real artist? Cause that is not who is truly known as the King of Swing seeing how Benny Goodman is dead and all

The King of Swing is an actual guy......the man who appears on the show is legendary blues man Buddy Guy........ i didn't quite get why the called him the King of Swing either being a blues player and all. :)

As previously mentioned Buddy Guy is a famous Blues guitarist. You are right about Benny Goodman but, i guess they figured Buddy fit the job...that is my favorite episode...my daughters too =0)

Buddy Guy is one of my favorite musicians, and I was delighted to see him on the show while my boys were watching.

I suspect the writers called him the "King of Swing" rather than the "King of the Blues" because they feel that "blues" has a negative connotation.

um, i think you guys are reading too much into it. I think they went with King of Swing because it rhymes.

When you hear hoof-beats, think horses before you think zebras.
