May have already been asked...... SPOILERS!!!

At the end when Stiller is in prison, why does he look "happy" about it? Is he happy he doesn't have the stress of such a hectic job anymore? Or because he caught the bad guy or helped those he cared about? Someone please tell me why?!

reply

Hard to say for sure, but my guess is because the whole reason everyone lost their money was because of him. He could almost live with that, but when the doorman attempted suicide, he realized he needed to make things right. At the end of the movie, he had done that. Also, my guess is that when he gets out of prison, he'll also have a good amount of money waiting for him as well.

There's always money in the banana stand.

Thanx so much!!!

Not a problem.

Because he won. He pulled off a "Marshall Swindle" and got away with it. It was a happy ending for him. He genuinely cared about the building's employees and was pleased he could make up for having (unintentionally) wronged them. If it meant he had to spend two years in jail, so be it. He had accomplished what he set out to do.

He got everyone's money back and is now a millionaire

the people who lost their money, are they supposed to go to the cash for gold place to get their money? would they even have that much on hand?

reply

finally able to get some good old fashioned prison love. Imagine the amount of cock he can get now!!!

(real answer I thought the same thing, why so happy, you're in prison with no job to go back to (and in the meantime Eddie Murphy has probably stolen your golden camshaft)
