It was ok, Murphy was funny and the end was horrible tho. A Fing Car and they had no proof for the heist to sent Stiller to jail for 2 years. There were so many plots holes

One of the more reasonable posts I've seen. I agree; though what made this movie for me was Eddie Murphy. I thought the subtlety of his character was done to a tee. Most directors over-act him.

I agree.

I don't think the OP speaks English as a first language "I recommend everyone to see this movie." And it's odd you pull him/her up for spelling and write Im instead of I'm.

It was more of a feel-good movie than a heist film.

I loved this movie and am hoping for a sequel to it. Eddie Murphy is BACK for sure! We had about 75 people at our 12:15pm showing and people were laughing so hard and loud I will have to see it again.
Bravo! 10 stars for sure!

Great movie? Almost.

Good movie? Yes.

As this film set up, I really thought it was going to be an all-time classic. I loved the concept and character set up so very much. The conclusion of the film itself hits far lower then anticipated but still delivered enough fun and excitement to make it a worthwhile effort. The plot turns silly and I’m not sure what the characters were actually thinking but maybe that’s the point. No one involved with the heist has any expertise and the over-the-top action is what results. Eddie Murphy is great but the size of his roll has been over-inflated. Besides a few three second scenes, he doesn’t even show up until halfway through the film. It’s Stiller’s movie through and through and he does deliver a fun film that was headed to instant classic levels but ran short of smarts when it counted most.

I loved it!!!

Were there a few plot holes? Yep. But was I able to overlook them and enjoy myself? A huge YES to that! It was fun which was all it was meant to be.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We agreed that it wasn't a rolling on the floor laughing movie, but it sure put smiles on our faces throughout.

I have to agree with the thread title. I absolutely LOVED the movie.

At first, I was kind of hesitant to see it since Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy and Matthew Broderick have had crappy movies for a while, but boy, was I surprised.

As a few of you have mentioned, the acting was solid, the plot was very interesting, and the movie was engaging. It kept moving at a good pace, wasn't boring and did not have any corny or stupid moments.

I also loved the end. I will not spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen the movie, but that final scene just nailed it for me. I came out of the theater with a really positive experience.

I recommend it to anyone!
