'Grindhouse' teaser vs. new slick looking teaser

Man if there ever was a time to actually apply the fake Grindhouse picture filter to a movie ,it has to be THIS movie.The super clear HD version being released will reveal too much of the limitations in the production of this movie.I`ve seen both teasers,the first one gave me a "hey that`s cool" feeling ,watching it with a big smile on my face.The new slick looking teaser makes the movie less desirable to watch,from giving a feeling of actually being a great homage to the horror movies from the 80`s ,to just another cheap looking DV movie.I hope any BR/DVD releases in the future will give us the choice of actually seeing this movie with the Grindhouse picture filter,loosing it will be a BIG mistake.

What's a "Grindhouse" filter?

The new trailer makes the blood and guts look like giblets and cherry gelatin. Yecch!

the director teaches at my school, and he came in and showed us the movie and it bugged me how clear it was. They should have used crappy cameras and added the grindhouse effect, that would have made it so much better.
