Nichola Burley (Warning:plot spoiler)

On the whole I thought the acting in this film was great. For me the stand out performance was Michelle played by Nichola Burley . Of all the characters, I felt hers was the one that could have most easily slipped into stereotype and yet she came across as the most beliavable. I thought the scene where she's being dumped by Yousef in the car park, as she goes from shock to heartbreak to anger and then self awareness (within her character, in that in trying to hurt Yousef she was getting her friend into trouble) was very powerful. I would love to see her in more stuff, in properly challenging roles (like I think this one was). Such a shame there are so few good parts around for women.
Well while I'm here.. I liked the film a lot. I thought the plot was a little contrived, but the acting and the way it was shot really elevated it. I heard in a Q&A session with the director the other day that he came up with the plot and general structure pretty quickly (since he doesn't use a conventional script and improvises the scenes), and I would say it's probably worth spending more time on that part of the process.
Anyway, hope it does well at the box office.

I wholeheartedly agree with the standout performance being that of Nichola Burley and I agree the best scene was the break-up with Yousef.

Actually, I agree with your whole assessment! :)

I saw it last night in the cinema I work in. I was the only one there, so don't know what that indicates about the box office... :(

Agree 100%. Wish she was popping up in more British films, think she's an excellent actress.
