i really dont think we need to learn much from America....ever.. and your saying what about indians and pakistanis?? that we should arrest all of them for being terrorists and send them off to some island with *beep* loads of barbed wire? what does america know abut social realism? .hollywood has it's place obviously but if you want to watch a movie that means something (fortuantely in this case this movie is about as real as a Michael Moore documentry when it comes to reflecting the life of an average Bit) then America has more to learn from great Britain.

We have a lot to learn from you Americans? You Yanks are bluddy stupid, why don't you try watching the film without your belly in your face then maybe it will make sense, seriously, you wouldn't last 2 minutes in Great Britain!

been saying this since ...well, a long time. europeans, mostly the folks on the mainland have more than a thing or two to learn from Americans. we have 300+ years of intense race and ethnic conflict and resolution. i'm not too sure how england fits in seeing how they assimilated blacks fairly well-ish. but, not really. also england, so i've read, will have its largest minority being mixed race individuals.

so...there you go. interracial relationships still stir a huge fuss outside of the major cities, hah, and even within some major cities (in the South). so in that respect the UK gets the cookie.

and im embarassed to have such an ignorant american basically speaking on behalf of me.

what america supposedly lacks in racism towards asians, we make up for in racism towards hispanics and african americans. both countries are guilty of here, one more than the other i cant be sure.
