I loved this movie! spoilers

Like others I ordered the DVD from Australia. I've wanted to see this for so long and it was worth the wait! Ryans character Matt was such an amazing character and wow Ryan is brilliant in this, actually everyone is but of course Matt was my favorite chracter by far. The story is so good, when I saw the 2 trailers I thought i'd spoilt it for myself but I hadn't really done too much damage.

I have to say, some of it was so intense, like the last basketball game? Oh wow that was so intense, and I literally gasped when that guy "missing" his finger was sitting in the back of Gar's car.

I loved the film so much, it really did impress me. If I had to say one thing that I didnt get that I wanted, was probably to see Matt and his brother to say something afterwards, maybe for matt to hit him lol I wanted to hit his brother myself! That shows how good it was!

So I think its a shame that it hasn't had the recognition it deserves, but I strongly suggest everyone should see this. For those who have seen it, what did you think?

So cool that you ordered the dvd :) I received the dvd myself last Friday. And I can only agree to what you just said!

Expect, it has got the recognition that it deserves, indystar.com, hollywoodreporter.com, variety.com, ibj.com all have nothing but praises for Home of the Giants. It only hasn't received the exposure that it deserves, it needs a proper theatrical release and to be shown on some major Film Festivals!

My initial comments on the movie:
Wow! Do I love this movie or what?! I've read every article, every review, seen every picture, read quite a few spoilers, seen both trailers (the second one has some major spoilers), but it still managed to keep me on the edge of my seat! It's funny, charming, romance, thriller and a bit of action all rolled together in a very well put together movie. Ryan was really great in it! A true break-out role with pizazz and flair. I loved the scene where he plays air-guitar to the song "Carry on my wayward son" by Kansas. lol, too funny! I also love the bickering between Matt and Keith, whether the car window should be open or closed, the ski-mask that reeks, the screwing up of the M&M's by Tilky. This movie has quit a lot of humor in it!

I totally agree! I loved all of those aspects! Matt did have a thing about things smelling didnt he? lol.
- His brother
- His burger
- His brothers car
- The mask

I really enjoyed it and I've watched it a hell of a lot since I got it. :)

I watched it today (I live in Australia) and didn't think it was that great but I'm glad I still got a chance to see it. The Gar character was so weak for most of the film! He didn't stand up for himself! And there was sooo much basketball and heaps of scenes of Gar driving, did you notice that?

Is school sport really that crazy in the US? It was insane! Everybody was so obsessed with it, like the Bridge character noted. Plus it was only guys playing and girls had to do cheerleading!

Not me, I don't know about anybody else. I don't know how to rip it off a DVD and I don't want to get in trouble. Sorry.

Have you checked that site that has links to a whole bunch of pirated movies? It might be on there. I hope you get to see it anyway.

Sorry, not going to help you with this, I love this movie way to much to do something like that. I've been supporting and promoting this movie for 3.5 years now. To have it put online would be disastrous for this movie. As it is already struggling to find a theatrical distribution deal.

I've been supporting this movie likewise for a long time. It saddens me that it's not available here. Unfortunately you guys are the only ones who have access to it. It would have been nice if you could upload it for as seeing as if the shoe was on the other foot I would do the same but that's fine. Hopefully someday it will be available to all of us fans who have been waiting a great deal to see it.

Just finished watching it and I loved it too, though more for Haley than for Ryan, but I've been a fan of both of them since they were kids. It's not what I'd call a great movie, but it was made with love and everyone in it did a wonderful job. I'm glad people are finally getting to see it. It's just so unfair that they can't get it onto DVD already in the US. What the heck is it gonna take?

I could go for that ;) even though it's 9 a.m. right now, lol.

I'm really close on giving up on ever seeing it in theatres. Luckily I have it on dvd.
