So being the huge renthead that I am I went out and bought Anthony Rapp's memoir and he and Andy Dick were really close friends when they were growing up, I think it's awesome that they're making a movie together (even if Anthony only has a small part) Anyways thought I'd share.

shareAnthony's book is definitely awesome. i read it in two days as well and i loved that he shared a lot about RENT which i adore. I bought my copy at his book signing when he was here in Philly. he is such a great guy and very talented.
shareI met Anthony Rapp at a book talk he did a few months ago (and may I just say that he is like the sweetest guy ever? He put up with shrieking fangirls like me very nicely. Lol.) and I loved his book too.
At the book talk he talked about how he knew Andy. They did Oliver Twist together when they were teenagers. Anthony was Oliver and Andy was some old doctor or something (sorry, never seen the show). I guess Andy only had a few lines but he came on in a huge wig and decided that, as Anthony put it, "his character had a progressed case of emphysema". So he was wheezing and coughing the whole time and Anthony could barely keep himself from laughing. They've been friends ever since.
And he talks about Andy in his book. They hung out a lot. Crazy things happened to Anthony at Andy's house, let me just say. Lol.

dude, on tom green live on his web site, andy was on the show and decided to call Rapp for the hell of it, it was pretty funny.

Okay I dont know the exact dates of their graduations or whatever but both Andy Dick and Anthony Rapp went to my high school in Joliet Ill. Thats probably where they became good friends, or if not(I think Dick is a bit older) its certainly a bond they shared. I love Joliet
