ufos are cool. i saw one once. nothing like a martian or anything. what i saw was a red-orange type ball in the night sky in austin, tx. at first i thought it was a plane but the color (intensity of the color) made me take a double look. i then tried to "follow" it by driving towards its direction. it seemded to be moving east, and i as i approached the downtown area, where the "ball" seemed to be, it began to move faster until it was no longer visible. i never heard anything on it again. apparently no one else saw it, or no one else payed attention. just look weird, since this was a big city. anyway, what sightings or encounters do you all have?

From the front yard of my parent's house, you can see Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga. There are a couple of radio antennas on top. One night, I was outside talking on the phone when I noticed a light over the mountain, but it wasn't one of the radio towers. The light was stationary and very high, probably a 1/2 mile above the mountain, and constantly changing colors. It would go from red to blue to green to white and back. It stayed there for almost a 1/2 hour. Then I went inside, came back and it was gone, has never been there since.
