I have actually heard some rumblings within the movie industry about how good this movie is going to be. I even hear there is going to be a skunk in the cast! The plotline featuring the kids who rescue their kidnapped parents is the most original I've ever heard. Plus I hear the director, Vince Neil, is being touted as the next Scorsese. Look out for this movie come awards season!

i'm definitely going to see it the second it comes out because my cousin is doing the costume design. not sure that that has anything to do with the dogs, but come on. shes like 20 years old and working on a feature film, plus she got to meet Blue from Old school, as in Patrick Cranshaw.

The orignal AirBud was the best. "Buddy" the Golden Retriever was actually a stray who was trained to do doggy tricks and became known for playing basketball. He died of cancer several years ago. His death was even noted on CNN! His famous appearances (prior to the AirBud movie) was on David Letterman. I remember the appearance he did when Arnold Schwarzanegger was guest. AirBud played goalie while the Governator kicked soccer balls at him.
Even though the AirBud movies (after the original) are kinda stupid, I love the Golden Retrievers and they're sooo cute! :)

Even my 8 year old niece thinks it's pretty dumb. If anyone knows how much do these crappy movies cost and how profitable are they? I sure would love to know. I'm guessing they cost a few hundred thousand and make them about a 5-7 hundred thousand on DVD.
