Bad jock about french people

Near the middle of the movie, the boys and the sherrif meet a skunk talking french. That seems to mean french people are skunks. I think it's a silly and a bad jock.

I think this was in reference to the "Pepe Le Pew" character from Bugs Bunny Show who is a french skunk. Not meant to be a bad joke about french people.
