The Invisible seemed to copy many key things from Moksori

I saw the 4th installment of the Whispering Corridors horror series again a while back and I kept remembering in the back of my mind another movie that I thought copied Voice. It took me a while to remember that it was The Invisible that I was thinking about. Voice came out in 2005. The movies are actually pretty different and the concept of a ghost being trapped in a school is not that unique, I couldn't help but notice many similarities in the beginning, especially the scenes when they first find out nobody can hear them, and other scenes that were TOO similar. Anyone seen both movies or has it just been too long since I've seen either movie. I'm *beep* tired as hell btw so excuse my post if it doesn't make comlete sense.

Wow thanks a bunch for pointing out the Invisible. I never saw the movie, but it looked interesting enough to see when it got out of theaters but I forgot the name.

I still haven't seen the Invisible, but it was the remake of a Swedish film Den Osynlige, so no I don't think the Invisible copied from Moksori, though if there are any scenes that look visually similar they probably tried to copy the cinematography.

The boy's spirit is not trapped at the school in "The Invisible". He travels around, even visiting his mother, as far as I recall. Also, he is not a ghost! He is a disembodied spirit; this is more like astral projection, with his spirit/soul wandering from his dying body, seeking help from the only person with whom he can make contact.

So, that deletes a lot of similarities. People are stretching for it here. I would say that "The Invisible" could be compared to "Just Like Heaven" more than this movie (which I'm watching right now).

You might as well compare this to "The Sixth Sense", with the friend being like Haley Joel Osment's character and the ghost, Bruce Willis's.

Interesting points although from my point of view, 'might as well compare this to The Sixth Sense' is a pointless comment. I hadn't remembered his travels but certain scenes disctintly reminded of Voice so that is why I posted in the first place. Good point about the cinematography dos_azn. In any case, I was just stating what I thought I had noticed, I wasn't trying to state a fact.

The invisible is a remake of a Swedish film. Since that was made first, it would seem this copied that if we go by that logic.
