Where are the waterfalls located?

There are a few scenes which show tthe falls: opening, ending and the 'slip-and-save' shot during the reaching for the cocoon pod.

Watching the extras with director commentary on, i listened carefully and replayed as Ligy J. Pullappally (director) mentioned the name which sounded to be like "Aduwapully" or "Adoowalpully" ... yet no matter how many different ways i spell it and a googling i cannot find any info about them. Frustrating! I've also tried researching natural waterfalls in the entire Kerela region, from travel websites, national parks and nature reserves but nothing listed has a familiar ring to it...

So barring asking the director herself (!) i throw this out to a reader who knows or can find out some way.
Beyond basic curiousity I'm considering planning a trip to India later in the year, it would be quite a treat indeed to see them and the lovely region in general. Any help is much appreciated, namaste.
