Locked door. Spoilers

Ok, the helicopter thing, the "Japanese" gf/maid, the power circuit thing....this thing above all those things made me mad. At the end when Ava makes her escape and you see Caleb trying to be with her.....couldn't he have came back to where he came from? He was in the computer room where Nathan punched him. That room was next to the outdoor porch. He could've easily gotten to meet her there. Unless Ava locked down everything for the sake of locking down but I don't remember the rooms being red in the end.

She had told him to stay there (or, something), but he could've walked out. Had he blacked out, when cutting into his arm - no, right?! So, he's not that squeamish as to be in shock over the murder /betrayal, not to have the presence of mind to save himself (Hello, the robots are killing people).

^^ After all, he was able to reprogram the house protocols - in a jiffy (hehe). Did he have prior knowledge of the systems?.. He's a cyborg, returning home?! IDK. He likes the alcohol, because he's a copy of Nathan - but, he doesn't get drunk - dunno!

Then, the power cuts out - somehow, right - but, she didn't have remote access and since the doors lock instead of opening, we're aware that a certain amount of time had passed - before she walks onto the elevator - or, has it?! Maybe Ava, somehow, did all that in a hurry... Only, when the hell would she have had the time - AND, if she'd done at the end... How was it that Caleb was still in the room and then got surprised when the door locked, once the power went out.

Maybe he's a robot and he's reacting; somehow he's gotta listen to her. I don't know!! :f

And then, there's this: https://www.quora.com/Why-did-Ava-leave-Caleb-behind-in-Ex-Machina/answer/Jesse-Shiff/comment/20150882

WHAT am I missing? o.0

Also, we get that Caleb might be an ant to her, or is he; but, why -then- even bother to tell him to stay there... She takes the time to walk over and do it. If she has emotion (seemingly so, the way she moves through nature later), why elect to torture Caleb to death...

Right?!?? Something happened with the ending of the film, that knife was supposed to be shocking and thought-proving enough, for us to be able to sail through to the conclusion.

The suspension of disbelief gets to be a little bit BEYOND, no!? :-0

P.S. Hear's teh clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfENFai5fEQ

1) WHY does she look at him, 2) Power cuts, but the doors don't open. So, she knew that - most probably - Nathan re-programed the system, or she had done it (WHEN).

Also, Caleb doesn't check (while standing up, for example) if that card will work - but, instead he sits down, as if to use it. WHOSE card is it, his?? Why would he think that it's going to work?.. If it's Nathan's, then how and when had he gotten to the body which is OUTSIDE in the corridor.

Again, that knife scene was supposed to do WHAT, exactly... Whoa, RLY I'd need to re-write this wall-of-text completely! xD
