Did anyone else laugh when Michael Shannon pulled his tooth out?

My girlfriend and I started laughing hysterically when he was screaming bloody murder while pulling out his tooth with the pliars. It was pretty damn funny. Anyone else agree?

Mmm, the OP's comment seems attention seeking to me. Picking such a graphically awful scene and being like "lulz we totes laughed at it" is like you're begging for a reaction. Because you must know that barely anyone would find that just so giggle-inducing like you did...

Anyway, I couldn't watch that scene...I hate teeth and teeth problem/pains. I don't usually look away at things in movies (because we know they're fake)... but I was like "NOPE!" and turned away and then muted it because of the blood gargling sounds, and then just turned the channel because I couldn't watch.

OP, have you had your teeth pulled/tooth extraction (of a non-loose tooth)? I've had eight pulled (four permanent)...well 10 if you count wisdom teeth, but at least I was out for those... sooo maybe there's something to that. I've heard the crunch of a tooth yank (my first pulled tooth even broke in half in the process), I've felt the strength it takes to have to rip them out, I've felt the post-tooth-pulled pain...I can still vividly taste the dark, thick blood that comes from that sort of procedure and lasts for hours...so I'm sure the scene brought all those sensations up for me... but, then the thought of how it'd feel withOUT novicaine, like with this dude in the movie... *shudder* Yeah no. Had to turn it lol. (I turned it back though)

I know I'm posting on an old thread, but whatever.

No, I didn't "laugh" per say, but I did have a "nervous chuckle". Like watching something that I wasn't supposed to see. Awesome scene, btw.

Tbh, though, I *did* sort of laugh after Peter killed the doctor. The very *human* doctor. Not at the murdering, but *after* it. Where Peter is all like "It doesn't care about your son. It's programmed to know what to say to you! See? This blood is fake! It's synthetic! It's not real!"

I hate to admit it, but, yes, *that* part I *did* laugh at.

As an aside, Michael Shannon was just fantastic in this. Such a great performance!

It was hilarious xD Especially with Judd's character freaking out continuously in the background. I'm sure if I had been watching with other people in the room, I would have rolled off the couch.
