Did anyone else laugh when Michael Shannon pulled his tooth out?
My girlfriend and I started laughing hysterically when he was screaming bloody murder while pulling out his tooth with the pliars. It was pretty damn funny. Anyone else agree?

shareI laughed. I actually found the rest of the film very intense and riveting, including the final scene, but the tooth extraction was so overdone that I couldn't help but laugh. I was thinking, "Could they have possibly made this any more graphic??"

NO! I was cringing BIG time! That was sick.
We're just a million little gods causin' rain storms, turnin' every good thing to rust
That part wasn't funny, neither it was sick. But I did laugh when they were putting the pizza under the microscope, it seemed totally ridiculous.
shareNot during that part but I did laugh when he started flipping around and throwing himself on the bed. That was hysterical! Also when she glorified herself and called herself the Mother Bug! Too funny!
shareI laughed quite a bit throughout the movie becuase it was so outrageous what they were saying and doing, so I guess I was laughing incredulously but they seemed to nail the whole escalation of paranoia, it was very well done imo.
shareYes, it was funny. Actually, I thought much of this film was funny. I guess you have to have a certain sense of humor to see it that way. I came away feeling like this film was a dark comedy.

Some of us like to laugh at the comical absurdity of crazy situations. The scene was ludicrous and that is funny in and of itself.
Get over yourselves you comedy snobs! It isn't desensitization, it's not some kind of self defense mechanism. It's funny, period.

Well of course SnoopSteele. Almost as hilarious as a Three Stooges short in their prime. You and your girlfriend have a very strange sense of humor!
