Roger Ebert thought Kick Ass was "morally reprehensible".
What a douche.
^^On top of calling Kick-Ass "Morally reprehensible" he also spoiled the ending in his rant (that's right, it's not even a full review). Ebert is senile and shouldn't even be allowed to review anything. The guys lost it. Not b/c I don't agree with his opinion, the guy just doesn't know how to review anymore.
Anyway Bug is a movie you won't forget. Even if you don't like it, it'll definitely keep your attention.

Critics are like a$$hole$, everyone's got them, and most stink...lol...No for real a critic is just a guy stating his opinion, and nothing more..I got this movie yesterday, and have yet to watch it, but you can bet I will be on here doing my critic thing, one way, or the other...Hard to believe someone can get paid to tell you what he thinks about a movie....

And, I don't understand how some folks who, on the one hand, speak so lovingly and appear so sincere about how AWFUL and IMMORAL it is to be prejudiced or biased against a ‘group’, then turn around and vomit out ancient prejudiced stereotypes about 'the South' (as if ‘the South’ in their minds is comprised of nothing more than a uni-conglomerate of group-think ‘redneck’ uneducated slow-talking, Bible-thumping zombies who are all addicted to hooded white sheets and chewing tobacco).
Some people are ignorant while others are no more than hypocrites.
At least people who are ignorant usually can be educated, while hypocrites…well, they just should be called out on their hypocrisy and NEVER be taken seriously.

I totally echo your sentiments re: Ebert's opinion of 'Kick Ass'
Years ago, I used to like Ebert's film critiques, agreeing with him about 80% of the time.
But I think he is sadly past his expiration date re: insightful analyses.
Some folks just don't know how to ride gracefully into the sunset *sigh*

Glad you finally got it... I had heard about it from my supervisor at work. It was mentioned as a movie to watch to demonstrate the mental disorder called "folie a deux", which is a shared delusion. So, I understood what was happening from the get go. I probably would have been confused too if I hadn't known that part!

this movie is excellent, great cast, great acting, and great plot, only downfall it takes place in one room majority of the whole movie, other than that I give it 8 out of 10 stars

i think it adds more buildup of suspense.. it shows you that these two people are completely blocking the outside world from their lives.
I thought it was pretty good in a weird sort of way....
